Srijit Mukherji, who screened Uma in St George, Ontario, Canada, on July 5, also visited the grave of little Evan Leversage, on whose life his summer superhit is based. After spending an hour at the grave, he also visited Evan’s home and met his near and dear ones. Later, taking to Facebook, he wrote: “And here rests the little champ, St George’s own ‘Uma’, a place lovingly adorned by her mother Nicole Wellwood with, amongst other things, a statuette of the Uma who watches over all of us. Will see you at the next screening, Evan.”
